TERRINE

By:

A meat, fish, or vegetable mixture that has been cooked or fresh and otherwise prepared in advance and allowed to cool or set in its container, such as loaf pan; the terrine is then sliced for service.

Terrine is also the name of the container.

We make the pictured mango, avocado, crab terrine in a stainless steel round open on either end. When removed, the food is stacked in place. See the picture for example.
