Puglia 2026 Draft Itinerary

Update: Due to the overwhelming response we have already received, we are excited to offer a second tour as well, running from October 19th through October 29th!

Note: There are some other activities being planned, but not on the schedule as of yet. I will let you know the additions in August for planning purposes.

October 5: Arrival at Canne Bianche

Dinner – Autentico Wine & Restaurant 


MENU – Suggestion:

STARTERS (to share)
Cheese board, mint-flavored bread balls with yellow datterino tomato mato ketchup, fried shrimps and squids, “Zucchine alla poverella” (lightly marinated zucchini)

MAIN COURSE
Sea bass roulade served on a soy cream and Mediterranean sauce

DESSERT
Gelato

October 6: Private Cooking Class with Hotel Chef

TROCCOLI & BRASCIOLE (typical traditional Sunday dish)

Guests will learn how to prepare fresh homemade pasta (troccoli) and brasciole (stuffed meat rolls cooked in tomato sauce)

October 7: Polignano a Mare Super Street Food Walking Tour

Some of Puglia’s loveliest beaches, known for its authentic and local food, and world-renowned cliff diving competition. Ringed by dramatic cliffs, the Lama Monachile Beach—also known as Cala Porte—is one of the most coveted and most photographed in the region.

October 8: Time for shopping in Alberobello and private guided walking tour with Francesco. Orecchiette cooking class

Alberobello offers unique shopping amidst its iconic trulli (conical stone houses), focusing on local crafts, olive oil, wine, and ceramics, while its food scene emphasizes rustic Apulian cuisine like fresh pasta (orecchiette), local cheeses (burrata), focaccia, and delicious gelato, found in both quaint trattorias and local markets.

October 9: Gianfranco Fino tour and wine tasting followed by lunch at winery

Wines produced are exclusively made from Primitivo and Negroamaro grapes coming from owned vineyards.

The production consists of 5 red wines and a rosé sparkling wine traditional method.

October 10: Exploration and private tour of Matera

A visit to this UNESCO World Heritage Site (city of caves, and it is the third-oldest continually inhabited city in the world) with a private guide, followed by lunch

October 11: Catamaran tour to explore the coast between Polignano a Mare and Monopoli

Visit the fabulous historic center of Polignano a Mare aboard a sailing catamaran. Take a dip in the Adriatic Sea and savor a refreshing drink with local appetizers.

October 12: Private local guided Lecce food and history tour with time for shopping

Lunch at Tipico Restaurant

If you are a foodie, you can’t miss this tour! Food or art… why not both? This 3.5-hour walking tour is a delicious way to explore the city and learn to eat like a local. Just follow our local and expert guide to discover this stunning city! Learn about Lecce culture while tasting the local food. Enter the most fascinating churches in Lecce. Taste the local Puccia Leccese (local sandwich), Pasticciotto (local sweet shortcrust pastry based), and the typical local coffee, not the usual Italian espresso…and last but not least, enjoy the stunning views of this enchanting city!

October 13: Mozzarella experience at Masseria Seppunisi

Are you passionate about the art of cheesemaking? Do you want to learn about how farm-to-table cheeses are produced? We will tour the stables and cheese production dairy, where expert hands transform milk into delicious cheeses every day. But wait, you will be able to make your own mozzarella with expert guidance as well!

Olive mill tour, olive oil tasting and lunch at Masseria Narducci

At Masseria Narducci, meals served in an ancient oil mill – the essential environment in which to enjoy authentic food experiences. Beauty and authenticity are the basis of Narducci’s family cuisine, rich in agricultural products born from love and care for their land. In the olive oil tasting room, we will taste the extra virgin olive oil of the seasonal production and learn about the surrounding territory. A unique sensory experience in which you can taste all the flavors of uncontaminated nature, typical of Apulia’s olive groves.

October 14: The Town of Conversano

A visit to the old town with a stop to taste the traditional “pecora in pignata”; wine tasting, and/or lunch.

October 15: Farewell Dinner at Masseria Salamina

Experience includes a Tour of the Masseria and the ancient olive grove, and harvest from the garden.

The dinner, a four-course tasting menu with wine pairing that will take place in the Greenhouse surrounded by the vegetable garden.

The menu includes:

An aperitif with show cooking, 3 starters (shared), 1 first course (pasta),

1 main course, 1 dessert

Tasting of 4 different wines of the best local Apulian Wineries
