CALIFORNIA ROLL WITH CRABMEAT (Ura Maki Style)

Ingredients:

  • 1 half sheet of Nori

  • Sushi Rice
  • Toasted Sesame Seeds
  • 2- 2 1/2 ounces Crabmeat
  • 2-3 slices of Avocado
  • Cucumber sticks

Method:

Rolling Uramaki
Place the sheet of Nori horizontally on cutting board.
Moisten hands and spread rice with finger tips to cover the whole sheet
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and turn over so that the rice is on the bottom side
Pile ingredients parallel to the long side of the nori
Pick up the edge closest to you with thumbs and use other fingertips to tuck in ingredients while rolling
Roll sushi away from you and use makisu to form
