RICE FLAVORED WITH SPICE BLENDS

1 cup rice 1-2 teaspoons of a spice blend
1 teaspoon salt
1-2 teaspoons olive oil (or butter or both)
2 cups water
Put all ingredients into sauce pan and stir. (Be sure the pan has a tight fitting lid.) Place on high heat and bring to boil, stir and cover, tightly. Reduce heat to simmer and time for 12 minutes. Remove from heat. Leave lid on and let rice rest off heat for 10 minutes. Remove lid. Fluff rice with a fork. Enjoy!
