SORBET, ORANGE POMEGRANATE

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup orange juice (fresh squeezed, if available)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1/4 cup red wine
  • pinch of salt

Method:

Bring orange juice, pomegranate juice, sugar and water to boil and dissolve sugar. Add salt.  Cool. Churn according to your ice cream  machine directions. Freeze solid before serving. Note, it may not freeze entirely if you add too much extra wine.
