SOUR CHERRY SAUCE

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cherries, pitted

  • ¾ cup sugar, honey or blue agave syrup
  • 1 -3 TBS lemon juice

Method:

Combine cherries and sweetener in a medium sauce pan; bring to a simmer and cook 3 – 5 minutes; adjust sourness with lemon juice; serve warm.
